Forbes America’s Best Employers
Owens Corning ranked 138th among 500 employers on the Forbes list of America's Best Employers for 2016. Forbes surveyed more than 30,000 workers at corporations, universities, and government agencies that employ 5,000 or more. The survey asked people about the likelihood of recommending their employer to others, as well as how they felt about other employers in their industry.
RobecoSAM Annual Sustainability Yearbook
Owens Corning was named the industry leader in the building products sector of the 2016 RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook. The yearbook looks at companies’ sustainability performance across a number of factors, including volunteerism, energy and emissions reduction, production efficiency, collaboration with customers and suppliers, and talent development. Owens Corning earned a gold class rating for the third year in a row.
Owens Corning was recognized as a global leader in leadership development, according to Chief Executive magazine. Owens Corning ranked 11th on the 2016 Best Companies for Leaders list. Owens Corning ranked 27th on the list of the top 50 internships in the United States, according to a national assessment of employers and interns by Vault.com. About 600 organizations were invited to participate in the survey, which also included ratings and reviews by 5,800 interns on factors such as quality of life, compensation and benefits, career development and full-time employment prospects.

The CEI is published by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, which works to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality.
