Chambers became the president of the Owens Corning Roofing and Asphalt business in October 2014. Previously, he served as vice president and general manager for this business since 2013. Chambers has also been vice president and managing director of Engineered Solutions in the Composite Solutions Business of Owens Corning. He spent almost four years prior as president of Saint Gobain’s Distribution Business in North America. Prior to joining Owens Corning in 2000, Chambers worked in a variety of commercial and operational roles with Honeywell, BOC Gases and an international engineering firm.
Francis became the president of the Owens Corning Insulation business in October 2014. Previously, he had served as vice president and general manager for the Residential Insulation business since 2012. Francis has also served as vice president and managing director for Glass Reinforcements, Americas, in the Composite Solutions Business. Prior to joining Owens Corning, Francis was vice president and publishing director at Reed Business Information in Chicago, Illinois, and also worked in various roles at USG Corporation.
Genis is president of the Owens Corning Composite Solutions Business. He was appointed to this position in 2010. Genis was named vice president and managing director for Owens Corning’s reinforcements business in Europe and its global technical fabrics business immediately after the acquisition of Saint-Gobain’s reinforcements business in 2007. Before joining Owens Corning in 2007, Genis worked 21 years at Saint-Gobain in various international assignments in sales, marketing, strategic planning and general management. In 2006, Genis led the Saint-Gobain team through Owens Corning’s acquisition of its reinforcements business.
Harter serves as senior vice president, secretary and general counsel of Owens Corning. She was appointed to this role in April 2015. Prior to joining Owens Corning, Harter served as general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary at Taleris, a joint venture between GE Aviation and Accenture. She has also worked at The Dow Chemical Company, Jones Day and Thompson Hine LLP.
McMurray serves as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Owens Corning. He was appointed to this role in 2012. He joined the company in 2008 after two decades of finance experience at Royal Dutch Shell. At Owens Corning, he has served in the roles of vice president, Investor Relations and Treasurer, and vice president and finance leader of the company's Building Materials Group.
Smith is the senior vice president of organization and administration, accountable for the company’s information technology, supply chain and people strategy, as well as traditional human resources functions globally. Prior to joining Owens Corning, he was executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Borders Group. He also spent nearly nine years at The May Department Stores Company in merchandising, operations and human resources roles.
Thaman has served as Owens Corning’s president and chief executive officer since 2007 and as chairman since 2002. He joined the company in 1992 and has held a variety of leadership positions. These have included chief financial officer beginning in 2000, president of the Exterior Systems Business beginning in 1999, and president of the Engineered Pipe Systems Business beginning in 1997. Prior to joining Owens Corning, Thaman was vice president in the New York office of Mercer Management Consulting, a strategy consulting firm.
